Community Foundation

The HBCTC Community Foundation was established to extend the Council’s mission beyond labor advocacy and construction projects, with a focus on building stronger communities throughout Hawai‘i. The Foundation invests in programs that enhance education, workforce development, and social well-being for local families. By supporting initiatives such as apprenticeship programs, mentorship opportunities, scholarships, and community enrichment projects, the Foundation helps create pathways for future generations to succeed in the construction trades and beyond.

The Foundation also partners with nonprofit organizations, schools, and community leaders to address critical needs, from improving neighborhood infrastructure to fostering youth development and workforce readiness. Through these efforts, the HBCTC Community Foundation demonstrates how skilled labor, thoughtful investment, and civic engagement can work hand-in-hand to create lasting positive impact for Hawai‘i’s people and neighborhoods.
