The Hawai‘i Building and Construction Trades Council (HBCTC) proudly contributed to the development of Koa Ridge, a master-planned community by Castle & Cooke Hawai‘i located between Waipi‘o and Mililani. Designed to meet the housing needs of local families while fostering a sense of connection and convenience, Koa Ridge represents one of the most significant residential communities on O‘ahu.
HBCTC and its affiliated unions provided the skilled workforce and expertise necessary to bring this vision to life. Carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons, laborers, and other trades professionals worked together to build quality homes, parks, bike paths, and community spaces that define Koa Ridge as a thriving, family-focused neighborhood.
Beyond delivering much-needed housing, the project created good union jobs and strengthened Hawai‘i’s economy, showcasing the power of collaboration between the construction trades and visionary developers. Koa Ridge stands as a lasting example of how thoughtful planning and skilled craftsmanship can build not just homes, but strong and connected communities.
